We are seeking a Lead Content Management System (CMS) Engineer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level CMS platform. The best candidate is someone who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build upgraded and high-performance web solutions that aid in effective customer service and seamless solutions.
This position is a remote long-term contract role. Possible occasional travel to the client site.
Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in web development with 3+ years specifically focused on Sitecore XC.
- Experience working with Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) architecture. Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SC10 XP solutions
- Knowledge of SOLR indexes and SOLR queries to troubleshoot index issues
- Ability to help troubleshoot orders and other issues
- Create and maintain custom components and integrate with third-party APIs
- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks including JQuery and Vue
- Understanding of Front-end frameworks including PatternLab, SASS, Handlebars,
- Must be able to Analyze and resolve performance issues with Sitecore CMS and SOLR, including caching strategies, using CDN, and SOLR schema maintenance.
- Perform Code reviews, with a focus on performance and coding standards
- Solid understanding of C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core frameworks.
- Experience with Sitecore PowerShell to create and maintain custom PowerShell scripts for content management
- Assist with resolving application issues and outages
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience using NodeJS, and NodeJS task runners such as Gulp or Grunt
- Minimum three (3) years experience writing SQL.
Fun Things You Will Do:
- Work effectively with minimal direction and supervision.
- Assist with deployment of XC/XP deliverables, which may include: Installing content package, manual content updates for sensitive data, clearing caches (Redis, mem, or Cloudflare caches)
- Guide new projects from an architecture perspective, with a focus on performance and maintainability
- Participate in all Agile or blended-approach meetings, including grooming, requirements, etc., Scoping and estimating, Defining technical requirements/approach, Defining acceptance criteria
- Create solution diagrams and documentation
- Communicate with solid written and oral communication skills.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Sitecore Certifications
- Micorosft Azure Certification
